How access works

Router is invite-only. Tell us what you are building and your account is set up within one business day; evaluation credits are issued on request. This page describes exactly what happens, from first message to first request.

1. Ask for an account

Email support@runixcloud.io or use the contact form with a line on what you are building: models, expected volume, latency needs. Access is invite-only; we reply and set the account up within one business day. No card, and nothing to install.

2. Your key arrives configured

A key is not just a credential here. It carries its own quota and limits, the set of models it is allowed to call, and routing preferences applied server-side — so the controls are in place from the first call rather than bolted on later. Issue separate keys per team or product and the usage reporting splits along those lines.

3. Evaluate before you pay

Evaluation credits are issued on request. Full router functionality, no card required. This is the stage where you find out whether the failover behaviour and the cost reporting match what you need.

4. Then you integrate

Integration is a base-URL change: point your existing OpenAI-compatible client at https://api.router.runixcloud.io/v1 and swap the key. The Router quickstart covers model selection, streaming, failover semantics and the error envelope.

5. When to talk to us instead

An account covers evaluation and normal production use. Come to contact@runixcloud.io when you need custom routing across specific providers, limits above the standard ceiling, invoicing or bank transfer instead of prepaid balance, or a signed MSA or DPA. Pricing is usage-based in USD and quotes are stated in writing — there is no published rate card because quotes depend on the models and volume you actually use.

Common questions

Do I need to talk to anyone to start?

Briefly, yes — access is invite-only. Send a line on what you are building and the account is set up within one business day; evaluation credits are issued on request. Mention custom routing, higher limits, invoicing or a signed agreement in the same message.

What does it cost to evaluate?

Nothing. Evaluation credits are issued on request, and no card is required.

How long does it take?

One business day at most for the account reply; key issue and integration are immediate once you are in.

Everything else is on the FAQ, the terms are defined in the glossary, and what happens when a provider degrades is on the reliability page.

Request an account

Tell us what you are building and your account is set up within one business day — then point a client at the endpoint. If you need custom routing, higher limits or invoicing, say so in the same message and we will answer concretely rather than stall.
