Effective date: July 24, 2026 | Last updated: July 24, 2026 | Version 1.0
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses Runix APIs, products, and services. It is part of our Terms of Service. Using the Services through the gateway also means you must comply with the usage policies of the underlying model providers your requests are routed to.
1. Prohibited content and conduct
You may not use the Services to create, facilitate, or distribute:
- Content or activity that is illegal under applicable law, or that promotes illegal acts;
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors — this results in immediate termination and reporting to authorities;
- Fraud, phishing, scams, spam, or deceptive impersonation;
- Malware, ransomware, or code intended to damage or gain unauthorized access to systems;
- Harassment, threats, incitement of violence, or content that promotes self-harm;
- Content that infringes intellectual-property rights, trade secrets, or privacy rights;
- Unlawful surveillance, doxxing, or exposure of others' personal data without a lawful basis.
2. Platform abuse
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or provider systems;
- Do not probe, scan, overload, or disrupt the Services, or circumvent rate limits, quotas, security controls, or billing;
- Do not attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or copy underlying models, or bypass model safety systems;
- Do not use automation in a way that degrades service for others.
3. Resale and third parties
You may not resell, sublicense, or provide the Services to third parties as your own without our written authorization. Runix sells its own AI infrastructure and software to its customers; it does not operate as a payment platform, escrow service, or marketplace on behalf of third-party sellers.
4. Sanctions and restricted uses
You may not use the Services in violation of trade-control or sanctions laws, including use by parties or in territories subject to applicable sanctions, or for prohibited end-uses (such as weapons development). You are responsible for ensuring your use is lawful in your jurisdiction.
5. High-risk uses
AI output is probabilistic and may be wrong. Do not rely on the Services as the sole basis for decisions that could cause physical, legal, financial, or safety harm without appropriate human review. The Services are not a substitute for professional advice.
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may warn, throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts, remove access, and cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate. Serious violations may result in immediate termination without refund.
7. Reporting
To report abuse or a violation of this AUP, email [email protected] with details. We take reports seriously and respond as quickly as we can.
